It made me think that it's true that it's easier to ghost someone than to reject someone. I guess no one likes to be rejected or reject someone. If you don't do it often, you also need to think of a way to do it politely and it can be a lot of work.
Same for buying. It's true that so much goes on in our minds especially when considering buying something that 10k+. It's a big decision with a lot involved!
I think we start having an easier time in most things in life when we realize there is no malice involved and we instead look for understanding. Because thinking that it’s malicious usually prevents us from empathy and actually resetting our expectations of the process.

Yeah definitely ! The Jolt effect really opened my eyes to that law of omission and it was super helpful realising it wasn't malicious!
